Ruth Amazon Expeditions wants you to fully enjoy your vacation in Peru, so we recommend reading carefully and following the instructions of your sales agent.
- To make a reservation, you must deposit a minimum of 20% of the total sale.
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the arrival date; this process carries a penalty of 20% of the total amount deposited. Outside of this period, the entire deposit will be retained.
- If there are any changes to your flight itinerary, you must notify us in advance; otherwise, we are not responsible and you must cover your own reception and transfer costs.
- The company is not obligated to provide footwear for excursions (rubber boots), so we recommend purchasing them before entering the jungle.
- The remaining balance must be paid in cash, by transfer, or via apps (Yape, Plin, and Tunki).
- All payments by credit or debit card (Payment Link) are subject to a 5% surcharge.
- All meals indicated in your itinerary are provided in the jungle. If you are allergic to any meat or are vegetarian, you must state this in the contract. Soft drinks and juices are not included with lunch and dinner.
- If you wish to leave the tour before the contracted days are over, it will be at your own risk and you will be responsible for your own river and land transportation costs (along with those of the guide).
- If a person is confrontational, negative, disrespectful, or makes other participants uncomfortable, they will be removed from the accommodation without any right to a refund.
- Tours are guided in Spanish; if you wish to have an English-speaking guide, you must indicate this in this contract.
- Tips are not included in the payments; if you wish to give one, it is at your own discretion.
- You should not make any extra payments; if forced by the guide, you must report it.
- If a person displays racist or classist attitudes, etc., and/or offends the guide, assistant, or any member of the company staff, the tour will be terminated without any right to a claim or refund.
- The company is not responsible for the loss of money or items dropped in the river or left behind in local homes or at the campsite.
